We're Expecting!

That's right!!

Greg and I are going to be parents!

Scary thought, huh?

lol

I haven't been feeling well the past while and have been super tired. Aunt "Flow" didn't come to visit on Tuesday morning (she always shows up on time) and I felt horriable all day. I told Greg Tuesday evening that I was late and we decided just to wait. Wednesday I felt like crap! Work was almost impossiable to get through. I had to leave early because I was so sick. I called Greg on the way and told him I was going to get him and we were going to the pharmacy becasue I wanted to test in the morning.


So off we went. OMG! The decisions... which one to choose! There were so many and we were kinda clueless! So we grabed a namebrand and headed out. ...got the one with 2 tests just in case. lol

We went to bed. I told Greg to wake me when he got up for work in the morning so I could do the test while he was home. I tossed and I turned and I just couldn't sleep. I had to know and I had to know now! So I jumped outta bed and off to the bathroom I went. I did the test and waited the two minutes. I couldn't bear to watch so I went and sat on the bed ... Greg sleeping all the while. I went back in after the two minutes and OMG! It's positive! We're pregnant! I ran out of the bathroom and jumped on the bed!

GREGGGGG!!! WAAAKKKEEEEE UPPPP!!! I shook the poor guy awake and said come here! He was all worried that something was wrong. I draged him into the bathroom and showed him. He looks at it and says "So what does that mean" lmao

I answered him, "Last time I checked a plus means positive". He just got this dopey look on his face, looked from me to my belly and back to me.

"I'm gonna be a Dad?!?" Needless to say he was overjoyed! He grabed me and huged me and wouldn't let go. When he finally did we got back into bed and just talked about everything.

I'm thinking we are due October 6, 2008 if my math is corect. That would put us at the 5 week point (I believe). I have to make an appointment for an ultrasound next week to see exactally how far I am along. We are both super excited and anxious to find out!

What a Weekend!!!

As you all know, last Thursday was my 25th birthday. YAY ME! ...another year older! lol

So, this past Saturday night was my birhday bash! I decided to celebrate it with my pal Shaun since his birthday is tommorow. So, this was a DOULE BASH! WHOOHOOOOOO! It was HUGE!!!!

We decided to go to On the Rocks Restaurant and Lounge in Whitby. It gave us a fun club scene without the treck into downtown Toronto. And since most of the guests live in Durham region, it just made sense!

Anyway...

We started the night off with some preclub fun at Shaun and Jenn's place (which is across the street, litterally, from our place). Obviously we did the whole predrink thing. Let me tell you, the Goose was flowing!! ...along with others! We all got our buzz on! lol We played Rock Band which is like my new favourite game! Greg doesn't like it so much... probably cuz he sucks! haha

We headed to OTR for 11 and you should have seen the lineup to get into this place! DAMN! It ut some of the downtown TO clubs to shame!!! I was shocked to say the least! Thank god we were on the guest list! We byassed that disgusting line!! What-What?!!!?!! Get upstairs, escorted to our booths, get our bottles and the party was on!!! The music was off the hook!!! We were on the dancefloor all night! The only time we came off was to replenish our empty glasses. It was soooooo much fun! And the lace was just ramed!!! Everyone had a blast! Every, except the DD`s got smashed!! hahaha ... I was licked outta m;y head! GOOD TIMES!!!!!

We left the club around 2am which was a little early but we didn`t have m;uch choice. Why you ask.... Well, I don`t want to mention any names to save shame and embarassment, but let`s just say someone passed out in the washroom and someone almost got into a fight. And NO! before you ask, Greg and I were not part of this drama!!

So, we went back to the house where we stupidly drank some more and of course, we played more Rock Band which was so much more fun when we were hammered!!! haha You gotta love how fun games are when you are smashed! Its like a whole new level!! Everyone passed out around 5am, so thats when Greg and I made our way home ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE STREET!

Oh what a fun night it was!!! but the next morning was not so fun! haha
